Our Digital Cre8or team are about to embark on the design of a collaborative community wiki to support our Digital Cre8or course - an introductory course on all apsects digital media which aims to stimilute students to engage in multimedia activities through a series of creative projects. The course is based at the University of Edinburgh, and is delivered through our two multimedia Resource Centres.
Aims of the Digital Cre8or wiki
The Edinburgh Digital Cre8or wiki aims to do a number of things:
- Create an online community for those interested digital media or in learning about it
- Provide a supportive environment for members to upload their media projects in order that others may comment and provide constructive criticism and encouragement
- Provide a forum for collaboration on the course content for Digital Cre8tor
- Host a number of course relevant materials and resources
- Encourage members to develop their digiatl media skills and become confident communicators in the media of their choice.
